Historical Background
Since 1929, the Bible Methodist Church has been in operation. Originally a Wesleyan Methodist Church, it became a Bible Methodist Church in 1966. The church was originally located at 237 George Street. In 2000, a new church was built on the historic site of the Hancock County Camp Meeting and its present location is 529 Stadium Drive.
